About the Fourth Commandment

The commandment teaches about family, is that it brings us closer together and we learn different values within each other. Family also teaches us the importance of authority and freedom also security. Society shows relationships withing one another. Society is a privileged community. Relationships are important in the fourth commandment teaches us to find the morals in one another. God made a family to show rights and responsibilities for the common good. Duties of children is to take care of the sick and the weak and learn as they get older. This teaches them to live in a well being society. Brings people to their needs. The duties of the parents are to be a role model for children to follow the good in their foot steps as they become older in life. Also to keep up with the morals and religious views on their families. Authorities in civil society help maintain order. This also helps strengthen marriages and relationships. Politics have a duty to honor the families and assist them. My religion teach has the spirit to teach us about God and all the good he does and to teach us about moral an immoral decisions. 

The type of Mom i want to be

 When i become a mother there are many specific characteristics i would love to be known for. Not only by my child but their friends and other people around me. The first is Honesty. I want my child to be as honest as they could possibly be. I understand kids make mistakes but if my child knows wrong from right and they know they should be telling the truth i will enforce that in them by teaching them at an early age. Loving is what i can teach my child by not hurting people and not showing them the violence in the world by playing with guns. Caring is what i would like to be known for when my child is playing with a toy and i will teach my child how to share with one another by showing them how to and what to do in those situations. I want to be known for being a strict mother because if my child has no rules to follow they will just do whatever they feel when they please and that is how disrespect comes in a child. I always want to be not just a strict mother but i would like to be a fun mom too. I believe a child grows up well with a strict mother sometimes but also needs a little bit of fun in their life so they don't hate you.

The Catholic Importance of Sunday

The Sabbath is a day we should all keep important. It is the Lords day and we should all rest. This day is also for us to reflect on ourselves and praise Jesus on this day. We should all remember we are all servants of the lord. The resurrection recalls the first creation. Jesus rose from the dead on the first week of Sabbath. On the eighth day shows new creation after the Sabbath. The Eucharist is the heart of the church. We celebrate the Eucharist on the day of the Sabbath in which the Paschal Mystery is celebrated. The practice of this dates back to the apostolic age. Grace & Rest both come into the third commandment because we all are servants of Jesus and need a day of rest. Sunday is usually the day to give to the poor and do good deeds throughout the community. Christians should all seek recognition on Sundays.

Second Commandment

Now days being a teenager, you don't normally think twice about the second commandment. Some ways we can start becoming faithful are: respecting God's name and not using it to swear. This is important because god made you to love and respect him kinda like your parents. Promises are another thing, they are used to show our truthfulness to God and authority to him. Blasphemy should very much be avoided, because it opposes the second commandment. We should not believe Jesus is not there in spirit with us or believe we are better than him. Oaths are okay as long as they are not false. They can become a bad sin if someone lies on oath. Taking an oath is like calling God as a witness. This is the time to pledge our truthfulness.

The meaning of the First Commandment

Faith in the first commandments mean we should bear witness to God. Hope talks about how the first commandment is concerned with sins against hope such as despair and presumption. Charity talks about how you should give to the people in need being sincere and divine. To adore God is to acknowledge him and that is adoration. Faith, Hope, and Charity are brought together by prayer. The only perfect sacrifice is Jesus when he dies on the cross to save us from our sins. Promises to God often include Matrimony, Confirmation, and Baptism. These promises are a sign of respect. The duty to worship God genuinely both individually and socially is how the traditional Catholics express the social duty of religion and the right to religious freedom. Superstition can affect our worship to God. Idolatry is a sin which is condemning God and worshiping more than just him. This can come in people worshiping or luxury worshiping. Giving the future the conscience to lead the way for you instead of God's plan of your life. In the first commandment god forbids irreligion tempting god in words or deeds. Atheism rejects the existence of God and having belief in your own fate for yourself.

Agnosticism is a search for god, and is too equivalent to atheism.

December Blog Post

     For Christmas i have many wish i would like to come true. Just like the rest of the kids and adults with big hopes and dreams. For Christmas this year one wish i hope that comes true is the Cure to cancer. Cancer has caused many loved ones to die at and early age or live being in a hospital. Some Cancer patients live knowing their going to die in a few months. Many kids don't understand the severity and shouldn't be afraid to die at such a young age.  
      My next wish is for  innocent people who have been killed. Not only is this hard on families but the community too. People are effected a great deal when a loved one passes away and they are innocent. Like in the news recently there was a two year old boy who was killed in a car crash on Dewey. The driver of the other vehicle was shop lifting and driving recklessly and hit the car carrying the two year old boy. The sad part was that i knew them. The mother now has to bury her son on Friday just days before Christmas. A family is effected a lot after a tragedy right before Christmas. My wish is to end violence and stealing.
      Another wish is to stop animal abuse. Animals should never be harmed in any way shape or form. if a person is not capable of taking care of an animal there are shelters. Or the person can sell the animal. There is no reason to hurt a harmless creature who can't even talk. My wish is to start to end the violence on animals. Using animals as testing tools is abuse in my eyes as well. Animals don't like to die just for their skin or just to be tested with a new makeup product or fragrance.
      My last wish is that everyone stops the murders around the world. To stop slavery in countries such as Africa or India. Slaves deserve to live. If a slave has a child that child should not be punished and sold, when they didn't do anything wrong. People are made to be free and not held captive. Murders and gang violence does not solve anything either. It causes tension in the world and broken hearts through out families.  
      These are just a few of my Christmas Wishes in 2014. I hope at least some of them come true. Even if some are considered "impossible", everything in my eyes is possible. I feel if everyone actually wanted to make a difference the world would be a better place. there wouldn't be any more crying or deaths. The world wouldn't have hurt in it.

Slavery Today

Modern Day slavery is still around today. it stretches across the whole wide world. Many victims of slavery are not captured how they were back in the day. Today victims are tricked into being sex slaves many in different countries are poor and are tricked into "getting a better life" once they get on that bus to go to their better life their passports are taken away and then the only way out is to escape. Modern day slavery doe not consists of shackles anymore it consists of rape, abuse, farming labor, torture, and mental abuse. Today slaves are kidnapped off the streets and taken into sex offenders homes and raped repeatedly. To help end slavery Obama has created "anti-trafficking month" in January 2012. This is to make people more aware about slavery and how serious it is around the world. Many reasons today why people become slaves are because debt bondage, which means they are in debt and have no money to pay. Bonded labor which also means people are in debt and they are in labor to try and pay off their debt and attached labor. Slavery is someone being taken away from heir rights and being used for another persons needs against their own will. Child slavery differs from chocolate slaves is that child slaves do farm work and chocolate slaves work in factories to make and ship chocolate. The top 3 facts that are most important to me about slavery are Human trafficking is the modern day slave trade, 27 million slaves are in the world today, and each year thousands of slaves are trafficked into the united states.
